WE ARE BACK WITH A NEW DATE AND A NEW LOCATION!!!

After injury stopped this challenge in September 2024 we are back to take on the challenge of running 100km in a 10kg weighted vest on the 15th March 2025! We are now running 134 lengths (750m per length) of Preshute Lane in the village of Manton.

The charity was born in a moment after the London Marathon 2022 between 3 friends, Jeff, Carl and Ian who have all faced personal struggles in the past so decided that there was a need for the charity.

For me personally i became a "Mate" in 2023 to try and help people who are going through life struggles and similar struggles to myself with depression, mental health and suicide.

Why the run:

In 2023 i ran a weighted vest marathon and wanted to up the difficulty level. So Ben being the way he is came up with the idea of running 100km in the weighted vest.

Why the vest:

The vest demonstrates the weight people with depression carry on a daily basis, i want to show that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things with being active.
