Story

Between Sunday May 25th and Friday May 30th I'll be backpacking along the South West Coast Path from Lizard Point in Cornwall to the RAF, Commonwealth & Allied Air Forces Memorial on Plymouth Hoe. That's 112 miles in total, with 22539ft of ascent and 22445ft of descent along the way.

I served in the RAF for just over 26 years, leaving 7 years ago. Since then RAFA has helped me when I needed it, providing me with support when I was at my lowest. For that I will always be thankful.

The RAF Association is one of the oldest military charities, having been around for more than 90 years. It provides life changing help and support to serving personnel, veterans (like myself), and their families. Every year they help more than 85,000 people to overcome difficulties ranging from physical and mental wellbeing issues to financial struggles.
