I am going to run the Budapest Marathon in October and as a memory of my dear Dad, Mike Pusey, who was the long serving chaplain of the football club, I am wanting to raise much needed funds for The Shots Foundation.

Their mission statement is to promote Community participation by using Aldershot Town FC to make a difference to the lives of people across North East Hampshire and Surrey.

We are actively looking to contribute to local, regional and national priorities, using Aldershot Town FC to positively impact on a range of agendas such as education, the development of Aldershot, physical activity, health, wellbeing, community welfare, community cohesion, employment and skills.

Our work is categorised under 4 core themes:

Engage people of all ages and abilities in sport and physical activity.

Education and Inclusion Engaging and including the diverse community of Rushmoor, of all ages and stages of life, to raise aspirations, attainment and achievement and understand that learning is a lifelong process.

Health and well wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.

Provide opportunities for people and communities in Rushmoor to contribute to their local community.
