On 7th December 2024, "Central Aircooled Dubz" in partnership with South Derbyshire District Council will host Swadlincotes first VW & Classic Car Christmas Convoy and Market.

Market Street, West Street, Midland Road and the Delph will host the Market, static Displays, live entertainment and festive food and drink stalls along with a craft Market.

At 4pm onwards, the High Street will close and welcome the first arrivals of the Christmas Convoy made up of classic VWs and cars.

At 6pm the convoy will leave the high Street to visit parts of Swadlincote, Overseal, Moira, Ashby, Woodville, Newhall, Brizlincote and Stapenhill before returning for judging, prize giving and live bands.

This is the platform for craft stall holders, traders and sponsors to donate to our chosen charity "miles for smiles" and those members of the public who will turn out not only on the route but to see the departure and return of the Convoy.

We expect a very large turn out and wonderful festive event and look forward to seeing you all on the day!
