Many of you may have heard about my brother in law Leigh, some of you may have had the privilege of spending time with him and his wife Katie.

Sadly Leigh was taken from us far too early after a long and courageous battle with myeloma. Leigh was an incredible guy, life and soul of the party. Always there with a kind and generous word, the kind of person that everyone likes to call a friend.

He was the best older brother that my partner Sammy could have ever wished for, and also a wonderful uncle to our 2 boys.

This year I will be walking 50k on the Thames Path from Runnymede to Henley to raise money for Cancer Research UK, in tribute to Leigh and the 6,200 people in the UK who are diagnosed with myeloma every year.
