London Marathon MyWay 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 27th of April 2025 I will be taking on the Reverse London Marathon.

The Reverse London Marathon is for all those people who did not get into the main marathon but still want to take on the awesome challenge of pounding the streets of London. Although both events take place over the same distance, the reverse is arguably the harder and more daunting challenge of the two. Not only will I be running the full 26.2 miles but I will be doing show in the dark, at night, in the cold, with no aid stations or hundreds of thousands of people to cheer me on.

I'm doing all this to help raise money for Parkinson's UK after a close friend of mine was recently diagnosed. The help and support that Parkinson's UK have given not only her but her friends and family has been immensely valuable and I would love to help raise as much money as I can to support their continuing work.

Thank you so much in advance for your generosity and helping their incredible work.
