The Menopause Charity will bust myths, overcome ignorance, and make menopause symptoms history. We'll support women with fact-based menopause research and help them access the safest hormone replacement therapy. We'll help educate healthcare professionals and employers, and campaign worldwide.

Story

Hi, my name is Andy. I am 57 years old and running my first half-marathon in June. Having thought about a charity to support, I decided upon The Menopause Charity. For several years I have observed my wife living through this challenging period. Her symptoms were dismissed by medical professionals and I witnessed how this had an adverse affect on her physical and mental health. I feel strongly if this was a male issue then research would have been better funded and progress made. Menopause is a misunderstood part of women's health and would like to do my part in helping raise funding and awareness. Menopause charities are often overlooked and my hope is by the time my daughters come to experience Perimenopause and Menopause there will be a greater understanding and they will be offered support and not suffer like my wife has.
