Moonshot Cycle

Andy Jones is raising money for Dorset County Hospital Charity
Weymouth-based cycling group, Dorset Drafters, is challenging its members to collectively cover a remarkable distance of at least 230,000 miles in 2025 to raise funds for Dorset County Hospital Charity's Emergency and Critical Care Appeal

Story

In October 2023, together with around 40 regular cycling friends, I set-up a cycling group - I am thrilled to say we have grown to over 200 members!

Some of us are more active than others, but together we share a common goal: to cycle a collective 230,000 miles in 2025, which we affectionately call our 'Moonshot'. This distance represents the journey from Earth to the Moon, and it’s all in support of the Dorset County Hospital Charity's Emergency and Critical Care Appeal.

I am personally committed to cycling 6,000 miles in 2025. It’s a challenge I’m excited about, but I can’t do it alone.

Our group is aiming to raise £3,000 for this very worthy cause. Every contribution counts, no matter how small.

If you feel inspired to support our mission and encourage my efforts, please consider making a donation. Your generosity will make a real difference in the lives of those who rely on critical care services.

Thank you in advance for your support!
