Childhood stroke changes the lives of children and their families in an instant. It can happen at any age, affecting babies (including in the womb), children and young people. More than 400 children are diagnosed with strokes every year in the UK.
The Stroke association help parents and their families, affected by a child’s stroke, to live their best possible lives, and achieve their full potential. They work with Evelina Children's Hospital to support children who have experienced a stroke and Fliss has received specialist therapy here
