Hospice Strictly · 6 September 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

On Saturday 6th September 2025 we are holding our own Hospice Strictly dance event inspired by the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ TV show, featuring local contestants paired with professional dancers, all competing for the coveted Glitterball trophy.

Story

I'm excited to share that I'm raising money for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd by participating in the upcoming Hospice Strictly 2025 Event! This opportunity will allow me to learn to dance (hopefully!) alongside a professional and perform in front of an audience this September… very scary stuff 😱

2025 is all about new challenges for me, and once I heard about this event it sounded like the perfect opportunity. Over the past few years, I've worked closely with the Hospice of the Good Shepherd in my role and gained some incredible insight into the ever so important work they do. Their commitment to providing compassionate care and support to individuals and families during difficult times is truly inspiring.

By supporting my fundraising efforts, you're not just helping me take on this exciting challenge; you're also contributing to a cause that makes a significant impact in our community. Together, we can help the hospice continue its vital work and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. Thank you for your support!

(The Hospice of the Good Shepherd provides its services free of charge to its patients and costs £5.2million to run each year with just 17% of the funding received coming from statutory sources. The remaining 83% is raised from a range of fundraising activities and the support of the generous local community in Cheshire. In addition, they raise money through their local charity shops and weekly lottery).
