I’m taking part in the Wimbledon Village Stables Sponsored Ride and it would be fantastic if you could sponsor me!

This year is especially exciting as it marks the 50th year of this event, raising money for a number of charities...and providing great entertainment! We will be parading down Wimbledon Village High Street around 9:15am (returning around 12:15 if 9am is too early a start for a Saturday) on the 14th September in our best fancy dress.

I decided to ride for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity which raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. Unfortunately most of us will be impacted by cancer directly or indirectly at some point in our lives, and the work the Royal Marsden do is key to try and change that statistic!!

Wimbledon Village Stables have over the years managed to raise a phenomenal £338,000 for this worthy cause, but we all know there is still so much more we can do - anything you can spare will be much appreciated.

The get up for this year is still a secret...but here's some previous efforts - the more money you pledge, the more ridiculous the outfit!
