Why I’m taking on Miles That Matter
After one ectopic pregnancy, four miscarriages, and a year of unsuccessful IVF, I found myself grieving not only the babies we lost, but also the future I had always imagined.
For a long time, I kept my experiences to myself. Pregnancy loss is incredibly common, yet so many of us suffer in silence. It can feel lonely, isolating, and invisible.
This July, I’m taking on 42 Miles That Matter for Miscarriage UK – 42 miles representing the 1 in 4 pregnancies affected by loss. Every mile is in memory of the babies we never got to meet, and in support of the thousands of people navigating pregnancy loss today.
The support provided by Miscarriage UK is invaluable. They offer information, a listening ear, and reassurance to people during some of the darkest moments of their lives.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, you’ll be helping ensure that others receive the support, compassion and understanding they deserve.
Thank you for supporting me, and for helping break the silence around pregnancy loss. ❤️
