Help Me Take the Leap for f⁶it!
2026 is a very special year for f⁶it as we celebrate our second birthday, alongside three milestone birthdays within the f⁶it family – including my own 50th!
To mark the occasion, I've decided to celebrate in a way I'll never forget by taking on something that genuinely terrifies me – a 100-metre abseil down the side of Portsmouth's iconic Spinnaker Tower on Sunday 27th September.
As the founder of f⁶it, this challenge is about so much more than reaching the bottom of a tower. It is about standing behind the charity that has become such an important part of my life and continuing to create opportunities for disabled children and young people to experience the joy, freedom and sense of belonging that sport, play and friendship can bring.
When I stand at the top of the tower, I'll no doubt feel scared. But I'll also be thinking of the incredible children, young people and families we support through f⁶it. Every single day they show remarkable courage, resilience and determination as they navigate challenges that most of us can barely imagine. They inspire me constantly and remind me that bravery isn't about not being afraid but about taking the next step regardless. If they can face each new day with such positivity and determination, then I can find the courage to step over the edge and take on this challenge in their honour.
Every pound you donate will help f⁶it continue to provide inclusive sport, recreation and social opportunities, bringing disabled children and young people together, reducing isolation, building confidence, creating friendships and supporting entire families. Your generosity will help ensure that more children can access experiences that many of us take for granted.
So, if you're able to, please sponsor my abseil. Whether it's the price of a coffee, a meal out or something more, every donation will help transform lives and give me that extra bit of motivation as I make my way down the side of the Spinnaker Tower!
Thank you so much for believing in me, believing in f⁶it, and helping us create a future where every disabled child and young person has the opportunity to belong, participate and thrive. Your support truly means the world to me.
