Small Steps Foundation support, educate and promote the inclusion of young children with learning disability in Uganda. We provide specialist education within a mainstream nursery setting and provide support and counselling to the families of the children.

Story

It's Christmas! Let's come together to give a truly lasting gift: the gift of education.

This holiday season, we are partnering with Small Steps Foundation, a charitable organisation that provides inclusive preschool education for children with learning disabilities in Uganda.

Your donation will help Small Steps Foundation provide a safe and stimulating environment for children with disabilities that include Down's Syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, and hydrocephalus to learn alongside and be accepted by their peers.

Children with disabilities in Uganda face difficulty accessing education due to lack of access, stigma and lack of resources. Small Steps Foundations believes that all children deserve the right to an education and that early intervention and inclusion are key to providing a better life for the child and their whole family.

How you can help!

Donate for yourself, or as a Christmas gift for others. Your donations will be used towards the ongoing cost of the Small Steps Foundation special needs program at Glory Be Nursery as well as outreach programs designed to enable families to support their children financially and practically.
