Having run the Great North Run back in my 30s, I thought it would be a great challenge to attempt it again in my 50s!

I am incredibly grateful to have secured a place with the amazing charity NSPCC for their active fundraising event. The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. They work tirelessly to help children who have been abused rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find effective ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.

Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after experiencing such trauma. This is why I am reaching out for your support. My target is to raise £500 for this vital cause by participating in this sporting event on 7th September 2025.
