We are dusting off our dancing shoes, sequins and sparkles to take part in the Charity 12-hour Danceathon — all to raise money for Prevent Breast Cancer.

NWiT have 7 people, myself, Karen Campbell-Williams, Alex Hall, Tracy Topping-Smythe, Ali Atkinson, Ali Wheeler and Kirsty Foster.

We are doing this as part of a larger group of people (50 in total) and as a combined group our goal is to raise £50,000 as a team and to fund the final push of the National Breast Imaging centre being built here in Manchester! As a NWiT team we would be delighted to contribute at least £5,000 to this goal.

Our wonderful Kate Rothwell has fought breast cancer over the last 12 months so this is on honour of her also and how brave she has been throughout.
