Story
Jim, Angela, and Barbara are taking part in the Walk to Beat Blood Cancer event in loving memory of Anne Marie, who died in December 2024 following treatment for lymphoma cancer.
Anne Marie was the loved wife of Jim, wonderful mum to Angela and Barbara, and cherished granny of Michael, Pep, Rae and Xavi, she is greatly missed by all who knew her.
Glasgow Branch of Blood Cancer UK are once again holding their annual Glasgow Walk to Beat Blood Cancer.
Join us on September 7, 2025 outside the Burrell Collection in beautiful Pollok Country Park, Glasgow, and help us raise funds to beat blood cancer.
The walk is approximately 5km (one lap) or 10km (two laps), your choice. Walkers set off at 11.30 for a beautiful walk round the park, and along the White Cart Water, taking in Pollok House and the formal gardens.
