Barons Court Project is the only service of its type in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham that offers direct access specifically to people who are street homeless and have a mental illness. They receive referrals from GPs, community psychiatric nurses, social workers and hostel keyworkers. Their services include Drop-In's, Life-Skills workshops, 1-1 advice and subsidised meals, showers and laundry. They aim to build service users self-esteem, confidence, hope and prevent them from suffering the effects of isolation and loneliness.
