This will be my 3rd charity bike ride for Woodys, it will be both challenging and emotional, as just had knee replacement so lots of training,plus the Somme ride is the last ride Tim and myself did together,finishing the ride in Belgium at the Menin gates was amazing.So proud of Tim he completed the whole ride with Lung and Bowl Cancer, after loosing Tim I did some voluntary work at Woodys, driving the minibus picking up Veterans taking them back and fore to the centre, I found this very rewarding,I will be doing this ride in Memory of Tim, hope he will be proud of me. I would like to ask all my friends and family to sponsor me on my just giving page for this fantastic charity...

The vision at Woody’s Lodge, is to provide an inviting meeting space for veterans of the Armed Forces, Emergency Services and Reservists to re-engage with life, there families and their n the parent services, the whole family serve, and this bring a whole host of challenges when their service ends. This can have a life-long effect on some people, including physical injury and mental health problems.
