Story
From 5–7 June, I’ll be cycling around 240 miles from Ullapool on the West Coast to Aberdeen as part of Coast to Coast 17 (C2C17), alongside an incredible team of colleagues from bp.
It’s a tough challenge — long days, tired legs, and plenty of time to question your life choices — but it’s all for a great cause.
This year the team is raising money for four amazing charities, and I’m proud to be riding for Arbroath Football Club Community Trust (AFCCT).
AFCCT is a local charity making a real difference in the Arbroath community, using the power of football to improve life chances, promote health and wellbeing, and support people of all ages and backgrounds.
The Trust was formed during the Covid‑19 pandemic with a clear vision: to empower the local community through education, sport, inclusion and opportunity. Their programmes support personal development, build confidence, and create positive change — strengthening the community one step at a time.
Knowing the impact this charity has makes every mile worth it… even the really tough ones.
If you’re able to donate, thank you — every contribution helps AFCCT continue their brilliant work and truly does make a difference.
