In January 2027 I am taking on the somewhat daunting challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

I am funding the trip myself, and every single penny that I raise will go directly to North Devon Hospice.

In 2013, I was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. The hospice were there every step of the way and were a true lifeline and an invaluable support to my children who were only 9&7 at the time.

I continue to navigate through my cancer journey and deal with the physical and emotional effects of all my treatment. I am, and my life, is totally unrecognisable from what it was before my cancer diagnosis. Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro feels personal, I need to prove to myself that I can do it, and give back to a charity that is so close to my heart.
