Instead of presents for my birthday this year, I'd really appreciate donations to Families 4 Peace!

Families 4 Peace welcomes families who have been recently displaced because of the war in Ukraine. They have a community centre and run all sorts of programmes where families can receive information and advice to help them re-start their lives and ultimately empower them to re-gain their independence.

This charity is really personal for me because my great friends, Alex and Maria, have worked with them since they arrived last April. They're really important people to ma and they're great friends. It was super hard for them when they fled the bombing in Kyiv and Families 4 Peace and now that they've settled here, they're able to work with other families (many with children) going through the same thing.

Last year with the kind donations I received the children at Happy House in Kenya got their bus. And with your donations I'd like to raise even more money this year. I really want to smash it!

Having our Ukrainians come join our family was one of the biggest things that happened to me last year and I'm sure they're going to be part of my life for many years to come. Please help me help others like them!
