Story

This is a very special year for The Lifeboat Fund - an official charity of the Civil Service.

2024 sees the 200th Anniversary of our charity's sole beneficiary, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. The Lifeboat Fund was started by civil servants in 1866 for one important reason - to support the RNLI's life-saving work.

All lives saved by the RNLI are a testimony to its supporters and also, of course, to its courageous crews, lifeguards and volunteers. The Lifeboat Fund is proud to be the RNLI's longest-serving supporter and single-biggest donor!

Thanks in advance to all public servants, their friends and family who will donate to this cause in 2024. Let's make the big Anniversary Year as special as it can possibly be for the heroes who save lives at sea!
