The Lifeboat Fund is an official charity of the Civil Service and also receives donations from Royal Mail and BT staff. The Fund supports the work of the RNLI by raising money to buy new lifeboats, equipment and training for crew. There are 12 Lifeboat Fund lifeboats in the RNLI fleet.

Story

We are raising donations for The Lifeboat Fund because we want to help the life-saving activity of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and its brave volunteers.

All money raised for this official Civil Service charity will go to support that vital work.

In 2023, the RNLI has asked us to include much-needed support for its life-savers at Stonehaven in our Appeal. The crew members at Stonehaven are presently undertaking their crucial rescues from interim accommodation. We want to help. The Lifeboat Fund hopes to donate £18K from its new Appeal.

As both charities recover from the difficult fundraising pandemic period, the help of our donors and supporters is needed more than ever. The Lifeboat Fund is hugely grateful to all those who help us maintain our proud position as the RNLI's longest-standing and single largest donor.
