Lynne, is a very dear friend who is suffering from vascular dementia and Alzheimers so I want to raise money to aid sufferers and fund research.

We have been friends for 60+ years, despite her moving back to the UK at age 11and my being resident in Jersey. We kept in touch by letter and occasional visits. I love her dearly and when her daughter, Lowri, knowing I enjoy recreational running, suggested we run the Cardiff half marathon together, I was delighted to agree.
