We are heading off to the beautiful Isles of Scilly to take part in a running challenge called the Scilly Sprint in order to raise funds for our BDMLR Cornwall Seal Hospital

However, the run (we hope) is going to be the easier bit as our biggest challenge is sailing there and back on the same day on the Scillonian …. For approx 3 hours ish each way … as we both get seasick!!!

Our seal pups cost approx £100 per pup during their first week in our care after rescue. When busy, our Seal Hospital can take up to 10 pups, so when we are at capacity in the middle of winter that’s approx £1000 per week that is needed to be able to care for the pups, vet supplies, meds, fish, equipment and utilities etc so we need to raise funds to start preparing for the seal pupping season ahead.
