In Loving Memory of My Grandson, Oscar

On 13th July 2023, our beautiful little Oscar came into the world far too soon — born at just 23 weeks. He was so tiny, yet so strong, fighting bravely in the NICU for 8 precious hours. Those hours were a gift I will cherish forever, because they gave me the chance to meet my grandson, hold his tiny hand, and tell him how loved he was.

Though his time with us was heartbreakingly short, Oscar made a lasting impact on our lives. In his memory, my daughter Leila and her husband Barry, have created Little Wings of Hope, a charity dedicated to helping other bereaved parents by offering both emotional and practical support during the most difficult time imaginable.

As a family, we know how important it is to have someone there when your world has been turned upside down. Through Little Wings of Hope, we want to ensure no parent feels alone in their grief, and that they have the support they need to navigate life after loss.
