Anglesey Cycleworks - Marble Arch to Holyhead Cycling Challenge for The National Autistic Society

Justin Wall is raising money for National Autistic Society

The Marble Arch to Holyhead cycling challenge · 18 September 2026

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

As the proud owner of Anglesey Cycleworks, I spend most of my days talking about bikes. But today, I want to talk about someone far more important — my grandson, William.

In my (slightly biased!) opinion, William is the best boy in the world. 💙

Despite being autistic and non-verbal, he absolutely loves life and brings joy to everyone he meets. I couldn’t be prouder of him.

William is incredibly lucky to have amazing parents, Tom and Hannah, who work tirelessly to love and support him every single day. He also has a rare place at a specialist SEN school that provides individualised learning plans, structured environments, sensory rooms and dedicated communication support.

Sadly, not every autistic child is that fortunate — especially here in Wales, where specialist provision can be very hard to find.

That’s why I’m supporting the National Autistic Society. They support over 700,000 autistic people and their families across the UK by:

Running specialist schools

Campaigning for improved rights

Training companies to become more autism-friendly

Working tirelessly to transform lives and change attitudes

To raise awareness — and to show my support for William and this incredible charity — I’ll be taking on the historic Marble Arch to Holyhead cycle race route in September 2026 🚴‍♂️

This legendary race, known as Britain’s longest one-day race, ran nine times between 1951 and 1978. Covering 274 miles along the old A5 coach road, it starts at Marble Arch in London and finishes on the promenade in Holyhead.

It’s a big challenge — but it’s nothing compared to the daily challenges faced by autistic children and their families.

If you’re able to, please consider supporting me via my JustGiving page. Every penny goes directly to the National Autistic Society.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe, and the money goes straight to the charity — making it the most efficient way to give.

Thank you from William and me.
