The concept for Angor started over 15 years ago when it became apparent that there is a real need for a support service in Carmarthenshire for individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer or a life-altering diagnosis. We are a registered charity Charity number: 1198882.

Angor is a community group of like-minded individuals from various walks of life who understand the impact that a life altering diagnosis can cause, and who aspire to enable and support the transformation of individuals by providing an informed and holistic service which builds hope and strength.

We believe the impact of cancer is not just physical: A holistic approach is needed for recovery. Recovery is assisted by attending to the needs of the whole person; mind, body, spirit and emotions. Emotional & Practical support should be freely available to people in Carmarthenshire who have been diagnosed with cancer, or a life-limiting disease.
