Story
On the 28th June, I’m taking on a huge challenge—running 55km around the circumference of Edinburgh—to raise money for Marie Curie and support families facing cancer.
I will also be dedicating this challenge to my Grandma, Alma. Alma passed in January 2016 from breast cancer. Not only did my Grandma receive exceptional care from the Mary Curie nurses but also me and my family. Within hours we had 247 care all in the comfort of her own home.
Marie Curie provides essential care and support for people living with terminal illnesses and their loved ones. Their nurses and hospices make an incredible difference during some of the hardest moments a family can face, offering comfort, dignity, and compassion when it’s needed most.
Cancer affects so many of us, and I want to do my part to help those going through it. Whether it’s a family member, a friend, or someone you’ve never met, no one should have to face it alone.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help provide crucial end-of-life care, bereavement support, and resources for families in need.
I know this run won’t be easy, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced by those battling cancer and their loved ones. Your support will keep me going every step of the way!
If you can, please donate and share this page to help make a difference. Together, we can ensure more families get the care and support they deserve.
Thank you so much for your generosity!
