Story

Hi All,

I have decided to take part in the Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge this June for charity and would love your support! I have decided to walk 47km on a single day for Citizens Advice South Gloucestershire as it’s a small charity making a big impact in my local area.

I would really appreciate your help in sponsoring me through this event – your donation really does make all the difference. A little about the organisation I volunteer for...

We can all face problems that seem complicated or intimidating. At Citizens Advice South Gloucestershire, we believe no one should have to face these problems without good quality, independent advice. That’s why we’re here: to give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever the problem.

Our local, independent charity offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. When we say we’re for everyone, we mean it. People rely on us because we’re independent and totally impartial.

In 2022-3, Citizens Advice South Gloucestershire helped 5,900 people with 16,526 issues. It saved clients a combined total of £7.6 million - that is the equivalent of £1,288 back in the pocket of each person it helped.

A big thank you from me!

Angus
