Story
This year, I’ve decided that running a regular marathon just wasn’t quite bonkers enough. So instead, I’m tackling 275 kilometres through the Grand Canyon—yes, you read that right—for Both Parents Matter.
That’s days of blistered feet, questionable dehydrated meals, and the distinct possibility of talking to cacti for company. But every sandy, sweaty step is worth it because Both Parents Matter is an incredible charity helping mums, dads, and grandparents stay connected with their kids after separation. They’re there when families feel like they’re falling apart, offering guidance, support, and hope.
Knowing that my slightly mad adventure might help keep families together keeps me going, even when my legs are screaming at me to sit down and eat ice cream instead.
I’ve set myself a target of £1,000, and I’d love your help to smash it. Every pound you donate will help Both Parents Matter continue their vital work—and might also help convince me this is all a good idea.
Please donate if you can—and share my page far and wide. Together, we can help more children enjoy the love and support of both their parents, and keep me running through the canyon rather than crawling!
Thank you for your amazing support!
