Story
This year, as I turn 50, I’m celebrating not just with a party—but with purpose. I’m raising funds for Pardada Pardadi Educational Society UK, a charity that is incredibly close to my heart. Born in Uttar Pradesh, just a few hours from where the school is based, I’ve always believed that every girl deserves the right to a quality education and a life of opportunity—regardless of where she is born. I was very fortunate to have a good education and I would wish that for every girl (and child) in the world.
I first visited the Pardada Pardadi school in 2017, and what I saw stayed with me. It wasn’t just a school—it was a transformative space where girls were growing in confidence, gaining life-changing skills, and inspiring change in their families and communities. Over the years, I’ve witnessed first-hand how education empowers not just individuals, but entire generations. This grassroots model works—and I’m proud to support it as a trustee of the charity’s UK arm.
Instead of gifts for my 50th, I’d be so grateful if you would consider donating to this incredible cause. Every pound raised will go toward educating girls from some of the most underserved communities in rural North India—opening doors to independence, dignity, and hope. Thank you for being part of this special milestone with me.
