Maya captured our hearts, but behind her soulful blue eyes and gentle spirit, something wasn’t quite right. Sadly she had a large liver tumour which had likely spread to her spleen. She spent her final moments exactly as she deserved — surrounded by love, comfort and gentle hands giving belly rubs.

Thanks to your generosity we were able to give Maya the medical care she needed.
