Story
Meet Pickle, a brave 7 year old labradoodle. Pickle injured her leg as a puppy and has been hopping around ever since. Despite coping as best she can, Pickle has lived her whole life in discomfort.
Since coming into our care, a veterinary assessment has shown that Pickle’s knee is fused. Sadly, this means she will never be able to walk properly or without pain. After careful consideration, our vets have advised that leg amputation is the best option to give Pickle a future that’s comfortable, mobile, and pain-free.
The surgery will cost up to £750, and we’re asking for your help to make this possible. We're sure Pickle will adapt incredibly well to life on three legs, and once she’s healed, she will be able to find a loving home where she can run, play, and enjoy life the way every dog deserves to.
Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards Pickle’s surgery and recovery. If you can’t donate, sharing her story would mean the world to us.
Thank you for helping us give Pickle the happy, pain-free future she deserves 🐾
