Story
And I’d love your support
Right now, whether it’s in the UK or in places like Gaza, Lebanon, Sudan or Ukraine, people are facing war, displacement, extreme weather and economic hardship.
In moments of crisis, the British Red Cross is there, working with communities to meet urgent needs and support people through their hardest moments.
I work in the Crisis Response and Community Resilience directorate, where we focus on helping people prepare for and recover from emergencies. Through our work in Community Education, we empower individuals and communities to understand risks, take practical action, and strengthen their resilience.
I’m running the 2026 London Marathon to raise funds for this work. Every mile I run is for the communities we stand beside, and for the future we’re helping build together.
If you can donate, thank you. If you can share, thank you. If you’re cheering from the sidelines, thank you. Your support means everything.
The mission of the British Red Cross is to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. Together, we can keep humanity at the heart of everything we do.
