Story

The Prophet, upon be peace, said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

assalamu alaikum brothers and sisters,

I understand we are all aware of the devastating floods that have submerged Pakistan. Although the intense rainfall has ended and the media has stopped sharing the news. The after effects of these floods has left the country in ruin, not just physically but the lives lost and families that have been displaced are in mourning. I cannot imagine the pain of losing someone in such a way or even the thought of my home being swept away before my eyes, leaving me with nothing but the clothes on my back. As winter approaches and I rest in my warm home I cannot help but wonder what will they do? How will they keep warm? How will their children survive this?.

Brothers and Sisters I ask you to read the following and just try to understand the current situation of Pakistan and how much of a difference your donation will make. I aim to raise £5000, this amount will allow us to build 2 brick homes, complete with a kitchen and washroom, as well as provide 80 people with the emergency medical care they require inshallah. May Allah make this not only easy for those in need but easy for you❤️ Jzk

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "If anyone relieves a Muslim believer from one of the hardships of this worldly life, Allah will relieve him of one of the hardships of the Day of Resurrection." (Source - Muslim)

One third of Pakistan is underwater, the most affected have been the regions of Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Punjab where more than 1,500 have been killed, 12,000 injured, 33 million displaced, 1.6 million homes, some 750,000 livestock, 5,700 km of roadway and more than 200 bridges have been damaged or destroyed.

Efforts to strengthen public health measures and stop the spread of diseases, including malaria and water-borne illnesses like cholera, are underway as over 300 have already died.

To survive this life-threatening flooding, Pakistan urgently needs assistance. Food prices are rising, disease is spreading, and tent supplies are dwindling. Human Appeal is responding to the current emergency situation in all flood-affected areas, including Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab. As we continue the emergency response, we also support communities preparing to rebuild their homes and their lives.
