Story
🚀 I’m voluntarily launching myself off a mountain for charity… because apparently this seemed like a good idea at the time.
On Wednesday 20 May 2026, I’ll be taking on the Velocity Zip Line at Zipworld Penrhyn Quarry — the fastest zip line in the world. That’s over a mile of flying through the air at mildly terrifying speeds, questioning every decision that somehow led me to this moment. 😅
I’m doing this to help raise money for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, supporting the incredible work they do for local families facing life-limiting illnesses. They provide compassionate care, support, and dignity to patients and their loved ones during some of life’s hardest moments — which feels like a far better reason for temporary insanity than most.
I need to raise at least £100, but I’d absolutely love to smash that target.
So if you’d like to support an amazing cause and enjoy the thought of me hurtling across a quarry like an over-caffeinated superhero, please donate whatever you can.
Every pound makes a real difference — helping Hospice of the Good Shepherd continue their life-changing work for families when they need it most.
Thank you for supporting an incredible cause, an incredible hospice, and my brief suspension of common sense. 💙🚀
