Essex Search & Rescue is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to search for vulnerable missing people. In 2022, we deployed on 114 occasions, a record in our 20 year history. Whether we search on foot, with dogs, on bikes, in canoes, or with drones, our priority is to find the missing person quickly and return them to their loved ones.

Whilst we are run completely by volunteers, it costs £25,000 a year to run the charity, before any major purchases. Every single penny is raised from donations, so your help is critical to enable our work.

Being part of the Team has made me realise how important their work is in helping vulnerable people in their hour of need.

I joined to help all these people in honour and memory of my Mum Margaret who had Dementia late in her life and was a Nurse and Hypnotherapist, caring for hundreds of people in her angelic way 💖.
