Kim and I will be taking part in the wonderful Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in October of this year.

A challenge that will see us walking many many miles hopefully in the sunshine, as we remember our best friend Karen.

Karen, Kim, Jenny and I are fondly known as the four amigos being friends since we were 11years old!

When Karen died after battling illness for most of her life, in August 2022 we felt the loss enormously and miss her everyday.

Sadly Jenny is unable to join us on our trek but we will all be together in spirit.

Karen was cared for by our wonderful hospice and we know first hand that the care she received was outstanding and Karen and her family were well supported by our amazing team ☺️

Thanks for reading about our adventure and challenge. We will be self funding the cost of the challenge therefore all monies raised will go directly to the hospice.

We hope to help Wirral Hospice St John's through our personal fundraising as it relies on donations and a vast host of other fundraising activities to help the charity keep caring for patients and their loved ones at a time of most need.
