It’s my 70 th birthday in June 2022 and I have already completed 70 wild swims in 70 different locations since my 69 th birthday Now I want to try to get 70 swimmers in the River Wharfe on the eve of my 70th birthday. Barnardos is a charity close to my heart as they looked after my mother and her 5 siblings when they were taken into care in the early 1930s. Barnados continue to look after disadvantaged and vulnerable young people
