London Marathon 2024 · 21 April 2024 ·

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

This year, I am lucky enough to be running the London Marathon for the NSPCC - a charity that is dedicated to ending child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. Their tireless work helps children who have been abused rebuild their lives, protects those at risk, and prevents abuse from ever happening again.

I know that every step I take during this marathon will make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children. But I can't do it alone. That's why I'm asking for your help. Even a small donation can go a long way in supporting this incredible cause.

I am by no means an experienced runner….

On the 9th of July 2023 I ran my first half marathon having only completed 2 runs over 5k.

On the 22nd of October 2023 I ran my second half marathon having only completed a further 5 runs over 5k.

With a total of only 9 runs above 5k in the whole of 2023 - leaping to 42k is definitely daunting, but with each step forward, I feel more empowered to push myself further.

My goal is to raise £2,200 for the NSPCC - a target that may seem intimidating at first glance. But with your support, we can achieve it together and create a brighter future for all children who need it most.

Join me on April 21st, 2024 as I run this marathon with purpose and passion. Together we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
