Hi, I'm raising money for Rowcroft Hospice, an amazing place that offers support to patients and their friends and families when they need it most.

I will be trekking for 4 days in the Sahara, experiencing temperatures soaring up to 40 degrees during the day and dropping to a chilly 5 degrees at night. I'll be camping in the desert for three nights, and I know this will be quite a challenge. Whilst there will be two camels carrying drinking water, this is not just a ride through the desert; I will be walking!

To prepare for this challenge, I'll be training on local beaches to reach the fitness levels necessary, walking on an unstable surface is much tougher than walking on pavements!
