On the 5th of July 2025, I will be joining our dedicated Volunteer Team on a personal challenge—the Croydon Library Walk—covering roughly half a marathon as we visit some libraries within the Borough of Croydon and connect with our community in support of Read Easy Croydon

Being unable to read can severely limit one’s ability to participate in all aspects of day-to-day life. Everyday tasks like filling in forms, helping children with schoolwork, and reading letters and bills could be a challenge. Being unable to read also impacts employment opportunities, self-confidence, and participation in society.

Read Easy Croydon's mission is important: they harness the skills and experience of local volunteers to provide confidential, one-to-one reading coaching for adults in the Borough of Croydon. .
