On the 3rd July it will be the 15th anniversary of my sons passing, our beloved Patrick, who sadly had a tragic accident in The Solent.

I have been fundraising for the past 15 years in Patrick's memory for the lifeguards who did all they could to save Patrick's Life. Unfortunately Patrick later passed away in Hospital. If it wasn't for the lifeguards we wouldn't of had the time to spend with Patrick in his final moments and tell him how much we loved him.

I will be abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth on Sunday 5th July 2026 at 4pm.

All the money raised will be going to Gafirs to help fund their charity as it is run by volunteers who put their life on the line daily to help keep people safe and save people's lives.

Any donations are greatly appreciated no matter how big or small. This is a charity very close to my heart and I have fundraised for them for the past 15 years during many other events I've held, raffles and other activities.

Patrick was loved by everyone and not a day goes by that he isnt spoken about. There are far too many stories to share but we all have our own memories with our dear Patrick and by fundraising we raise awareness for the charities, pay for essential equipment & training and support the cause.
