Story
It's been a few years since I have done some serious bike riding, and I felt the need to get back in the saddle to raise some money for a worthy cause. Working for Regenerage, I see firsthand just how much the elderly in Lancashire, along with their families and loved ones, need the services that Regenerage offers. The immense impact we create is truly inspiring.
If you know someone with memory concerns or dementia, then you understand how devastating it can be for everyone involved. Dementia does not discriminate; it affects not only the elderly but also those who experience early onset dementia. This year, I am riding in the 2025 Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride on July 13th in memory of my wonderful stepfather, Patrick Murphy who sadly passed away due to dementia during the pandemic.
All funds raised from this ride will go towards much-needed resources that enable Regenerage to continue its vital work, helping older people to live well and age well. My target is £500, and every contribution counts. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by dementia. Please consider supporting this important cause. Thank you - Ann ......
