In September I will travel to Co. Mayo on the west coast of Ireland to climb the 2,500ft to the summit of Croagh Patrick.

I have taken on this ‘Peak the Reek' challenge with friends from the Women of Irish Heritage (WIH) professional network, to raise funds in support of Fréa and the work of its 3 partner charities, to help and support vulnerable Irish people across the North of England.

I will also be completing this challenge in honour of my sister Lorna O’Brien.
