Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am fundraising for Alder Hey Children's Charity to show my appreciation and support for the incredible work they do. It’s a cause close to our family as my grandson Theo was at Alder Hey Hospital earlier this year for his open heart surgery. The care and compassion he received during such a challenging time was truly remarkable, and it inspired me to give back in a meaningful way.

In honour of the amazing staff and the vital services they provide, I have decided to challenge myself by running a distance I have never attempted before, or ever thought I could do ( 26.2 miles).

I will be participating in the Chester Marathon on 5th October 2025. My goal is to raise £1,000 to support Alder Hey Children’s Charity and help ensure that other children receive the same exceptional care. All money raised will go directly towards supporting the incredible work at Alder Hey.

Any donations, big or small, will be greatly appreciated. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children who need it most.
