Story
Aaron and I are participating in an abseil down the cathedral on the 14th of September and would be extremely grateful to anyone who could donate or share our post. All money raised will go directly to the Owen Mcveigh foundation.
The Owen Mcveigh foundation is a charity very close to our hearts. As everyone will already know our beautiful baby boy Francis was diagnosed with AML leukiema nearly a year ago. He was given a 30% chance of survival and would require a bone marrow transplant, which came with complications and nearly took his life. As soon as Francis was diagnosed Mark and Jo got in touch and assured us we were not alone. Through the truly amazing and selfless work they do we have met some wonderful people who have became our friends, our rocks. They have also allowed us to make some unforgettable memories with our little boy, memories we honestly thought we’d never make.
The Owen Mcveigh foundation allows families in Merseyside to create magical memories. I honestly can’t begin to explain how special and priceless these memories are when you are watching your child go through cancer treatment.
Francis is nearly a year post diagnosis and is doing well. We are so grateful that we now have the time and headspace to give back to such an amazing charity who have helped us more than they’ll ever know❤️
