Azure are proud Ambassadors for Amy & Friends. Our journey with Amy & friends started the day Amy and her inspirational mum Jayne & wonderful family came to see us at Azure. Her smile lit up the room and despite all she had suffered due to this rare DNA disease which is both life limiting and growth restricting her bravery and love of life was a total inspiration as was her family's battle for recognition and help and support for other families the world over whose children were diagnosed with a similar condition. With little or no funding they have achieved so much against all odds. We are hugely proud at Azure to be strong supporters and I want to do my utmost to raise awareness and raise as much money as I can to help them in the wonderful work they do and of course ultimately hopefully find a cure. Amy passed away to a better place, as do all the children with this disease ( few making it past 8 years old) but her smile lives on in our hearts forever. I have lots of activities this year lined up, many with Azure and some on my own.
